Passionate News Commentators Meet And Talk
Stewart Joins O'Reilly To Discuss Fox News
Tracking System Direct, a global distributor of GPS tracking systems, gained access to the interview that everyone is talking about, the Daily Show's Jon Stewart's appearance O'Reilly Factor. Stewart, who describes himself as a comedian and not a politician or lobbyist for the democratic party, joined O'Reilly on his popular television show to discuss a variety of topics. The main topic of conversation between the two commentators was about whether or not the highly rated Fox News Channel deliberately pushed a right-wing, conservative agenda.
Stewart had issue with the Fox News Channel cutting away from the live footage of President Obama speaking with the GOP when it appeared Obama was winning the verbal sparring match, and also how the cable news network attempts to sell conservative talk as news. O'Reilly battled back saying that the channel could only delegate a particular amount of time to the presidential and GOP because they had other commitments. O'Reilly agreed that talk show hosts Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck were not part of the news portion of the organization, and that the men tend to promote their own political views, but he also stated that many other news anchors report a very "fair and balanced" view on domestic and foreign news.
The to men politely battled back-and-fourth in a very entertaining interview that is definitely must see television. Watch the interview and you tell us who you think got the best of this showdown!
