Dr. Conrad Murray Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter
Michael Jackson's Death Was Preventable
As it was expected, today the personal physician to pop super star Michael Jackson was charged by the Los Angeles District Attorney with involuntary manslaughter for his role in the accidental death of the King of Pop.
After careful research and review of all the available information, the Los Angeles District Attorney concluded that Murray's over-prescribing of hospital-strength anesthetics contributed, if not was the sole reason, to the untimely death of Michael Jackson.
The maximum penalty for an involuntary manslaughter conviction in the state of California is 4 years in a state penitentiary.
Sources close to the investigation have anticipated Murray would be charged for sometime due to the nature and circumstances surrounding Jackson's death. Tracking System Direct spoke with someone close to the investigation and that individual stated that because of the types and high levels of narcotics found in Jackson's body that the law enforcement investigators felt there was some level of negligence involved.
Murray explained to authorities that he prescribed a variety of narcotics to Jackson for his insomnia problems.
