Senator Halts Unemployment Compensation
Principles More Important Than 200,000 Who Will Lose Benefits This Week
The great recession continues to take it's toll and leave an impact on the global economy. The unemployment rate continues to increase, or on a good month stay flat, while Americans everywhere are struggling to pay their bills. Unfortunately, many of the Americans receiving unemployment compensation benefits are getting some bad news because one Republican Senator, Jim Bunning, is single-handily responsible for stopping those benefits for 200,000 families this week alone.
According to the National Employment Law Project, what Senator Bunning is doing is refusing to give an extension to those people who were prematurely released from work and in need of unemployment benefits. The actions of this one Senator will result in families and workers losing the last lifeline they have while America struggles to get back on the road of recovery.
Tracking System Direct, along with all of our GPS tracking partners and vehicle tracking experts, never get involved with politics because the topics have the potential to get heated, but the discussion on unemployment needs to be addressed. If the American government can spend billions of dollars fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, billions of dollars bailing out Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, billions of dollars bailing out Wall Street executives, than they should be able to extend unemployment benefits to American people struggling to find work.
Hopefully, the Kentucky Senator will do the right thing and get out of the way and let the unemployment extension go through.

Do you think one man should have the power/ability to block such an important measure?
